Challenge
Help the Worldwide Technology team launch and promote its new Enterprise Collaboration Framework by creating an attention getting internal marketing campaign and coordinating related activities with its internal corporate communications staff.
Solution
Company standardized on Microsoft SharePoint as its shared workspace platform to drive adoption among colleagues, to increase operational efficiencies, and improve collaboration. User experience activities included:
- Information Architecture - Developed wireframes and functional specifications depicting user interface design and navigation approach.
- Visual Design - Design and development of a brand for collaboration and visual designs for collaboration site.
- User Interface Development - SharePoint development of pages and css files.
Results
- 5,216 active TeamSites supporting 41,127 active users
- Self-service capability to create shared workspaces using online site creation wizard
- Building a knowledge base with wikis
- Business networking capability to connect and search for colleagues
