ITT's growth target was to double in size within 5 years which required collaborative tools to boost innovation, fuel organic growth, improve performance, and smoothly integrate new businesses / employees into the company.
Solution
SharePoint 2010 provided the capabilities to bring colleagues, customers, and partners together securely and reliably - anywhere in the world to drive growth and innovation by ‘creating value together.’ User experience activities included:
- User Research - Focus groups and one-on-one interviews to understand challenges and determine user requirements.
- Information Architecture - Developed wireframes and functional specifications for intranet that included templates for collaboration and community sites.
- Usability Testing - Performed one-on-one usability testing to validate user experience.
- Visual Design - Designed brand for collaboration and visual designs for all site templates.
